Unfortunately, I don't believe either one would work with the MemPlug CF Springboard. They both specify that they conform to the CF II form factor, which means they might be too thick to physically fit in the MemPlug CF. Also, how much are these adapters running for? I mean if you're going to be paying more than the $49.00 for the MemPlug SM, you might as well buy that instead.

Fare thee well,

There is very simply reason

Those adapters can be used not only with SpringBoard CF adapter, but gives possibility to use SmartMedia cards with only CF enabled devives. I.e. iPAQ. ;-)

Agreed, but since you were posting on VisorCentral and under Springboards, I figured that was your angle. I don't know about individual prices, but I figure some of these adapters are getting close the price of the MemPlug SM.

Amazon sells them for $33, but it looks like even CE users have problems getting it to work, and it would stick out quite a bit from the Visor. Also, Euxx, the Memplug CF seems to be Type I only, so you'd need one of the other CF adapters to test it out.

Price doesn't matter

The point is to reuse SmartMedia cards with Visor and with the rest-of-CF-only-enabled-gadgets (i.e. digital cameras, other pda, mp3 players, etc...). :-)

So you have an excess of SmartMedia cards, but most of your hardware is CF based, correct? Well that's an interesting situation you're in then. I guess the best way to go about is to buy the MemPlug SM and one of those adapters for the rest of your CF stuff. And of course, give me a line as to who your SmartMedia supplier is.

Fare thee well
