Palm sued for damaging PC motherboards

Seen the latest in computer-related product liability lawsuits? Anybody ever damaged their motherboard by hot-synching?

Yup.... Have had a IIIx in house that fried the serial port on a Gateway G6 (P2 233). Now we can only USB or IR sync to that machine. That was some time ago.
