I was just kidding about P'ton, I've been there plenty of times, it's a nice town, just not much happening out there...
You wouldn't happen to work for a big software comp that starts with P and ends with soft would you?

Gadzooks! Flowers to commuting!

(how many miles is that? I commute 45 miles, takes about 5o minutes)

D-R, I must say that your flowers are dreamy (I'm man enough to say it!)

If the picture isn't working, have you thought about a brain wave module?

But would you be man enough to use them as an avatar?

I'm sure it will be proven that it causes cancer.

Alright I'll ask it... Where did you get the flowers?

Since just about every post in this thread was taken the wrong way, I think it should get an award. Interpret that any way you like.

I assembled it from Photodeluxe clipart and sample photos (the sunflower didn't come with a stem - notice how similar it is to the tulip stem...must be a conspiracy).

Or...I took the photos in Hawaii as the flowers were gently swaying in the breeze with my Olympus C-211 digital camera, while scantily clad women gently swayed in the breeze behind me.

that explains why the lighting seemed off. I mean odd.
I thought it was a black-eyed susan, not a sunflower.

Not those flowers, that would be avatar plagerism! I'm not willing to do the time for that crime!

Maybe I'll dress up my boys as birds and me as a big flower and have my wife take a picture of us in the back field.

It's listed as a "yellow flower" in photodeluxe. The closest thing I've seen is a sunflower. The one on the right is a tulip, right?

The swaying half naked women didn't tell you what kind of flowers you were taking pictures of?

Yes it's a tulip, I saw one in Terminator.
