Palm CEO Carl Yankowski Resigns; Chairman Eric Benhamou to Serve as CEO

Palm today announced that Carl Yankowski has decided to resign as chief executive officer. Eric Benhamou, Palm chairman of the board, will serve in his place until a permanent successor is named.

Does he know something that we don't but should?

How instrumental has he been in the whole Palm process, though? I really don't know what he has accomplished, meaning which initiatives he pushed through as opposed to his staff. Maybe he's realizing he isn't the man for the job...
