Hello,

I am having some odd problems with a conflict between PalmPassword and my VisorPhone on my Platinum

At work, on Windows NT, I have to reset the visor while holding the up arrow button in order for PalmPassword to sync. This deactivates my VisorPhone, so I have to reset again when I am done.

At home, on Windows ME, it will not sync at all. I keep getting the same error: Error: 5504 Desktop program is not listening, even if I reset with the uparrow key held. Even if I remove the visorphone.

I really like PalmPassword. Has anyone else had problems with it and springboard modules? I've e-mailed them, but they haven't gotten back to me.

Thanks,

Mike

Wait - you're using a program that requires a hard reset whenever you hotsync? Why, in god's name?

No, not a hard reset, a warm reset (according to http://www.visorcentral.com/page/0-17-1016-17.htm) anyway.

Still, it's annoying. I like the fact that I can have all my passwords in one place in an encrypted file, and I really like that it'll automatically insert them into web pages, but the warm reset does make the program neigh unusuable.

Thanks,

Mike
