Question

I am planning a trip to Europe and want to be able to use my visor Dx to sync and check e-mail.

I have a ADSL line.
What are my best options? I could use some travler's advise.

Thanks.

Arrow DialUp

You need a dialup ISP to dial into. Perhaps you can use one fo the free ones in Europe.

get a modem, plenty of batteries and an ISP that has international dail in numbers (otherwise you will spend a fortune calling the us...)

Also get the backup module, in case anything goes wrong... can't live without it...

You will also have to check where you are planning to go to see if the the plugs you are going to plug into are american style or if you are going to need an adaptor.
And if you are going to use Handspring's modem or the one from thincom you will need some way to see if the line is digital. if it is it will fry the modem. Check out the accessories at Targus.com
