One of my favorite web pages in the world is the Most Emailed page on Yahoo. I think it's a great summary of what people on the web are interested in. Anyway, the pictures are often really good. Of course there are lots of sex-oriented ones and some rather gory ones but on the whole they are very neat. That is where this photo came from.

Indeed, most all my profile photos come from that page.

And congrats on 1000 posts. You're almost there!

I was not wondering where the snake came from, but why BobbyMike's baby daughter was nowhere to be seen. I hope they managed to keep her and the snake separate...

I understand better now. I must be aurally challenged as comp. noise doesn't bother me.

The snake is owned by a guy I did work for. He also has a BIGGER snake that he has owned for 21 years, but at 120 pounds the boys couldn't lift it on their own.

He does a great presentation on snakes (slideshow and lecture) with a hands on where people can actually hold the snakes (he usually has around 20 snakes on hand). Up to 200 people. He lives in the Poghkeepsie, NY area. He's a retired (35 years) science and math teacher.

Thanks for the congrats. I saved #1000 for you!

My wife wouldn't let me take a picture with Charlotte and the snake.

Party pooper.

That's a really a bit overanxious of your wife. After all, Charlotte does not have any teeth yet, I don't think she would have done any harm to the snake...

Yeah, but she has sharp little fingernails and snakes have very sensitive nostrils and eyes...

Lightbulb Hmm...

"Charlotte and the Snake" sounds like a great idea for a children's book...

As long as it doesn't involve her being tricked into eating fruit I'm OK with that....

Nah...

I'm thinking more along the lines of "Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel." A classic! "They went up the hills, and down the hills." I've read that so many times to my kids that I have it memorized!

Something fun and upbeat, that puts the snake in a positive light... And of course the intrepid heroine!

ATI will be releasing the AIW 9600 pro. Nice card. Glad I waited on that purchase.

Which will come first: the $250 or the release date. Time will tell.
