.pqa applications

I have now managed to get pqa applications to work on my Visor Platinum with VisorPhone here in London, England, using SureWave from JP Mobile. Some of these apps work fine (BBC and CBS MarketWatch), but some don't (Quicken, Wells Fargo, eTrade). I am dialing into a "normal" ISP but I can't see why that would matter. What is different about a "wireless" ISP, anyway?
Wells Fargo and Quicken just time out. Anything I can do to get these to work?
