for datebook, how do i delete alarms, i just cant figure it out?

I'm not sure I know exactly what you are asking, but...

If you want to turn an event alarm off, you can either click the little alarm graphic to the right of the event description in, or tap on the event description and tap "details."

Either of these action will open the Details form. There will be a checkbox called "Alarm," which you can simply uncheck.

i have doubles of floating alarm events. i have no idea how to delete a floating alarm.
