I have to constantly soft reset my Visor Deluxe in order to hot-sync with my USB craddle. Does anyone else have this problem? I never have any problem at work with my serial craddle just at home on my USB craddle. It will work fine for a while and then I'll try and hot sync and it will just sit there and I need to soft reset the visor and then it works. I find this annoying, any Ideas on what would be causing this? A package I installed, perhaps AvantGO?

You are using two different computers, I bet it's a problem with the computer/software. What are the specs of your PCs?

Hmm.. Well no matter what computer I connect the USB craddle up to I need to sometime perform a soft reset to sync with USB. So I don't think its a specs issue. It more likely something with the Visor itself.

I had the same problem until I began turning off all my hacks prior to HotSyncing. Then I re-activate the hacks after HotSync. If you think about it, this is almost as bothersome as the soft-reset.

I don't have any Hacks installed right now so I don't think that is the problem, about the only thing that is different is I installed avantgo. Seems I only need to soft reset after using avantgo to hotsync.

Well did some more testing.. Its only after using AvantGo, that I need to do a softrest to hotsync with my USB craddle.. Anyone else having this problem?

I installed AvantGo a couple of weeks ago and sync only by USB. No problems yet. (I have MenuHack active too.)
