 Question JP Mobile's SureWave and Thinairapps

Has anyone used with success the JP Mobile's SureWave and Thinairapps
thinair mail with a wireline modem, and more especifically the handspring 33.6 modem.

I can't Finish the account setup portion of the mail configuration.
