I have the original Visor and was told I need Pocket Mirror 3.0 to hotsync to Win 98 on a desktop. I have Pocket Mirror 1.02 and don't really want to buy another version. Does anyone have any alternatives as this shouldn't require a lot of extra purchases. Thanks.

PocketMirror 3.0 Standard is a free upgrade from v2.0 which doesn't seem to be available from Chapura's site anymore. Why don't you try contacting them to see if you're still able to upgrade?

You do not need any version of PocketMirror to sync any PalmOS device (regardless of manufacturer or model) to Win98. Pocket Mirror allows you to sync a PalmOS device's built in apps (datebook, Address, ToDo, and Memo) to MS Outlook rather than the Palm desktop.

I could be wrong, but the latest Palm Desktop for Handspring devices download package contains PocketMirror 3-something (IOW, download the whole package from Handspring and reinstall).
