Tellus Technology Introduces Best of Class Wireless Springboard Module for the Handspring Visor

FREMONT, Calif., Sep 27, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Tellus Technology Inc., a developer and supplier of wireless internet access terminals, introduced today the WIPClip CDPD (Cellular Digital Packet Data) Springboard(TM) module
for the Handspring(TM) Visor(TM) handheld computer. The WIPClip can be seen for the first time at Global Xchange 2000 September 27-29 in Chicago in the Handspring booth No. 4540.

The WIPClip Springboard Module for the Visor ushers in a new era of wireless data connectivity for Palm OS-based handhelds that utilize the Springboard expansion platform. Low profile and lightweight, a Visor when mated with a
WIPClip will comfortably fit into a shirt or jacket pocket adding very little to the size of the Visor itself. The WIPClip offers the rapidly growing community of Visor owners the ability to access email, browse the internet or access a
corporate LAN wirelessly, at speeds up to 19.2 Kbps. Among its key features is the ability to recharge the WIPClip battery through the same Hot-Sync/recharging cradle and charging cable that will be available for the recently
announced Handspring(TM) VisorPhone(TM).
