Question

Has anyone been able to get the PixelTester app that ships with the Prism to work? Once I tap the icon, the screen goes white and that's it.

Any info would be great.

Thanks

While I couldn't find the app Pixel Tester, turning the screen white might be all it does.

Dead pixels usually turn black, and would be easy to spot against the white background.

Actually, it seems to test each color the pixels can generate. If you keep tapping it will cycle through several colors. I guess it's for troubleshooting. Not sure why mine booted up to that screen, though...

Where did you get it? I couldn't find it either. It wasn't on the CD that came with the Visor, nor could find it at Handspring's web site.

I'd like a copy of it too.

I found PixelTester through a search at http://www.palmgear.com. It simply makes your whole screen one color, so you can spot any faulty pixels. Tap the screen to make it cycle through various colors.
