I recently received my 5 pack of stylus from HS. I was disappointed to see that the flashing (injection seams) are right next to the tip -even worst than the standard stylus. This would make it very easy to scratch up your screen. Unacceptable! However, I liked the weight of the metal shaft and the fact that the tip can be unscrewed to access a built in reset pin and the back reveals a mini screwdriver -I assume for taking the case apart. The thought occured to me to use a fingernail file sponge (a four sided sponge with decreasing weights of abrasive that ladies use for polishing their nails -about 50 cents at any store) to remove the flashing and carefully polish the tip -staying away from roughing up the very center of the tip. Woohoo! A perfectly smooth tip that glides like silk. The nice thing about this method is that you could easy repair a damaged tip that is scratching up your screen -provided it is not too bad off. Just be sure to litely bernish the tip starting with the more course grade and progress to the finer polishing grades as you go.
