No $.15 /min charge at Cingular for Data Calls.

Well, I got my service on 9-7 91. I got my first bill today.. 288 bucks!!!! I want on a trip and I was roaming and damn people keep calling me and I have to make a lot of calls ROAM due to WTC attacks etc. $119 bucks just in ROAMing.

Well.. so I check in to how much I spent internet useage with my visor phone. the ISP number shows just like voice Calls. NO special charges for it. I spend about 6 hr of online time lastmonth.

i got Free Nights and weekends so I might have to use Visor Phone more often on the road.

Yeah.. Mostly because of I was roaming. Some roaming miniutes cost more then calling 1900 number.. lol

The point was Cingular said .15 cent/min for data calls and I don't see anything about they charging 15 cent a miniute for Data Calls I did last month.

Phone bills

My first bill was only for $488
.15 would be a deal for data calls
they give free nights/weekends and then charge .35 when i went WAY over on the time.
2 bill was $65.53
Gotta just get the data and get offline.

I'm thinking of getting the standalone $99 VisorPhone and just use my Cingular SIM card from my Nokia phone. Will I need to activate data service to even get on the internet, or do you think I can just give it a try without data and just add it later if the modem/browser won't work?

I was a little miffed when I saw that there is a 15cent charge, but your post has made me hopeful!

Thanks
