Visor to Cisco 4500 via DCH-M9, anybody done it?

Has anyone been able to connect to a Cisco 4500 or 2600 using a DCH-M9. I've been trying to connect with GoFigure and pTelnet to no avail. My connection has been:

Handspring -> DCH-M9 -> DB-9F-RJ45 -> RJ45 Flat -> DB-25M -> Cisco 4500 Console Port

So pretty much using the same setup as if I was connecting my laptop to the router, but instead of the laptop I am using the Visor/DCH-M9 combo.

Do I need to connect pin 4 to pin 7 as was posted for the cell phones? I have tried various options for my modem settings.

It used to work perfectly with my Palm III. I have the adapter to attach to the HotSync cable for that. Maybe I just need to get the DCH-H9 and use that adapter, but I was hoping for more functionality with the plain serial cable.

Has anyone successfully made this connection?
