Thumbs up

I finally received my Devian DVP3 case today. I am quite happy with it so far. It seems as though it will do everything I wanted a case to do.

The case is made of good quality leather with a pebble finish on the outside and smooth leather on the inside. The workmanship look very good, with even stitching and no loose threads.

Inside there are 7 credit card sized slots and a pocket for cash. The pocket for the cash is quite tight but I imagine it will loosen up over time. There is also a small writing pad and a sleeve for a pen or stylus.

The Visor attached with Velcro and that seems to hold is quite securely. There is a full-length strip of Velcro hook attached in the case and two strips of Velcro loop to attach to the Visor. I attached one piece just below the Springboard compartment (any lower and it interferes with putting the Visor in the HotSynch cradle) and one piece to the Springboard cover. It is just the right width and does not overlap to the visor case itself.
Yes I know that the cover will be removed when I slip a Springboard in place but the once piece of Velcro still holds the Visor well.

I am not using the Visor plastic cover with the Visor in the case as the screen is very well protected but if you remove the writing pad, there is enough room to use the Visor cover.

This all holds together with a nylon zipper to close the case tightly. When all is said and done, and the case has a fair compliment of cash and credit cards inside, it zips closed to about 1 inch, maybe a tad more, and fits well in my front pant pocket. It is not that much larger than the wallet it replaces.

I plan to pop it into my desk draw while at work and working at my desk but I think it will work very well as a wallet and Visor case to be carried in my front pocket.
