Angry Visor Pro is slower than the Edge..?!?!

I have to admit I've found this really frustrating. I decided to 'side-grade' from a Visor Edge to a Visor Pro - mostly for the additional memory. I've got a lot of stuff I want to keep *in* my Visor rather than in a CF or Flashmodule. Not to mention that I was having that 'adapter' on the back of my Edge so much as to defeat the point of actually *having* the thin Edge.

So I noticed after I moved into it that things seemed slower - even with Afterburner 3.1. I ran my Palm Benchmark program, and sure enough it is! If a Palm IIIx rates at 100% my Edge rated %406!! (with Afterburner). But my Visor Pro rates only %268! That, in a word, sucks!

Has anyone else noticed this??

I noticed that too. I played with the edge and the pro in the store. I beamed the demo of bejeweled to the pro and the edge from my neo. The pro seemed as slow as my neo, the edge was much much faster. I also tried it on the prism and that was very fast as well. I wonder what handspring did with the neo and pro that make them slower even though all of the models use the same cpu.
