IR Sync from cradle??

I have installed my Visor Edge onto my Win 2000 box using the USB cradle that came with the Edge.

However, when I hit the button on the cradle, the Edge tries to sync via IR. But if I hit the HotSync button on the Visor's screen it will sync correctly with the 2000 box.


Why is this? Do I have a faulty cradle? Do I have a setting wrong someplace?

Further, I have a serial cradle that I use to Sync with my Linux and 95 machines and hitting the button on them causes it The Edge to sync correctly. I have had the Edge and both cradles for almost a year now and only just recently have tried to use the USB cradle.

Strange

Hmm this si strange.

Make sure that the hotsync icon on the unit doesn't say IR to PC or Custom. It should say USB/Serial. If this doesn't help..tey the hard reset thing.
