I think PPC is going to kill ALL of the Palm OS machines if Palm prices stay as high as they are. Why are Palm machines so much more expensive for comparable features?

The machine you saw in Sams Club was probably an older, discontinued model. If you look in Best Buy or any other electronics store, you'll see that PPC prices are outrageously high ($599 for the iPac).
