According to this news piece http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1006-200-2026026.html Acer is coiing out with a new PDA this summer. Like the visor it will have addon peripherals, but it will look like the Palm III series. Just when I was beginning to think that Handpsring have some competition, I read this "The Slim Mate will run a PROPRIETARY operating system being produced by Acer and an unidentified third party".

This thing may take hold in Asia...but it won't go anywhere on this side of the PAcific.
