Talking

I'll keep my Visor out of sunlight

If there is a wire that will add some distance between the solar cell and the Visor in a shady spot, then maybe it's something worth considering.

Look Carefully at the case

Thats actually either an aftermarket clear case for a Palm III, or one of the Palm IIIx specials that was made with a clear case (can't remember the designation).

Still a neat idea, and with rechargable batteries, you wouldn't have to *use* the visor in the sunlight, as you
could just charge it during the day in your office or such,
and still be able to use it at night.

Cheers!

There are several solar panels that claim to work with assorted PDA's, but I'm not enough of a techie to know whether they can power a Visor Prism or not. Wish they could! There was a previous thread on the subject (solar-powered visors), but can't remember whether there were any feasible solutions.

Unhappy

Solar powered? That would require the sun right? I'll wait for the rain powered PDA. Add a few drops of water...
