Wired vs. Wireless

I was wondering what were the differnet landline modems for the visor? Is it worth it to get wireless internet? I warned you I would post a lot of vs threads.

1. different landline modems?
2. is wireless internet worth it?
3. what is better wired or wireless?

I have a xircom modem for wired access to internet and email but also use the IR port and my mobile for wireless access. I only access email on my visor when traveling, and I use the modem whenever I can because it means a local phone call with no international roaming charges. I really only use the wireless access in extreme boredom when there is no ground line available, mainly because of cost. Plus, unless you can use GPRS, wired is faster. Hope that helps.
