I just picked up a visor deluxe this week and am having problems with the serial cradle. I have an older Pent.100 dual boot NT/98 with no usb support, hence the serial cradle. I do most of my work in NT so I would like to be able to Sync up there. When I loaded the software it looked for a COM port but never finds one. I have tried all the Com ports listed in Sync manager. What is the default? Any ideas?

First you need to find out what port you have the cradle connected to. Then test the port with this procedure from Palm. Do you have anything else that is using the serial/modem port like fax software? Your modem and cradle cannot use the same IRQ.
