Hey All!

Does anybody know whether the My Vox, meant for the Palm 3, the one attached to the flipping cover, will fit on the flip cover for the Prism?

Hmmm... I think it just might work since there's no apparent interface to the handheld itself.

goVox adds voice memo recording capability to the Palm III series of organizers by replacing the flip-cover with a stand-alone voice recorder.

I agree. Use the Prism Flip-CLip it will work fine. The Flip Lcip was designed to be compatible with Palm IIIe covers.. so.. I never ealized that way of doing things..

Sastian:

Are there any plans to link up with Landware and make a goVox based on the Flip-lid form factor?

Angry Buyer beware

Although I think the I-vox or go-vox (landware) from shinei could be a great accessory for a palm or visor, I would think twice before buying this product. I have a Palm IIIC. Landware does sell a product for the Palm III series but because the Palm IIIc is a little longer, I decided to go directly to Shinei for a perfect fit. Shinei does sell an i-vox designed to fit the IIIC and for only $49.95. I decided to buy the product although they are in Singapore. This was a tremendous mistake. I purchased the product via their on-line shop on 19 Jan 01 and my credit card was charged on 5 Feb 01. To this date I have not received the product and have only recieved 1 response to my many e-mails. The response stated that they thought that they may have difficulties mailing the product to my address. I have sent them an alternate address and 3 e-mail addresses to reply to two weeks and cannot get a reply. With shipping charges the total charge to my credit card was $55.95, my credit card company (most will do this also) will charge me for the first $50.00 so the most I can recoup from this lose is $5.95. My point to this e-mail is that although landware will more than likely ship the product, if you do have problems, you will not have an easy time dealing with Shinei. They are an extremely difficult and unresponsive company to deal with.
