I try to connect my Visor to my Linux box using a serial cradle and the pppd. It works with my PalmIII but the Visor generates the following errors:

a) Sometimes it says "serial port already used" when I tap on "Connect"

b) Sometimes it says "Connecting to..." but doesn�t do anything further

c) Sometimes it doesn�t event print anything in the form like it should do (and like described in b)).

The folks at Handspring say, they don�t support Linux - but that can only be a joke because it has nothing to do with Linux. Some of the above errors sometimes even show up when the Visor is out of the cradle and not connected to anything that even slightly resembles a computer...

Hope anybody here can help me.
