Question

I see that Ericsson offers a modem for their cell phones that communicates with Palm OS devices via the IR port. This seems like it would have many advantages: Does not take up the springboard slot, does not requre a cable to the cell phone, uses the cell phone battery instead of the Visor batteries.

Has anyone out there used this product? Care to post a review?

Oops, that link doesn't seem to work.

Go instead to www.ericsson.com
Click on cell phone accessories
Select "Mobile Office DI27" from the "Connectivity" pulldown menu.

(I hate it when I can't just cut and paste a URL.)

I've been waiting to try that myself. By t he way, this has been mentioned in another thread, but if you call 1 800 ERICSSON you can get it for $99. (On the the site it's almost three times that.)
