Unhappy

Has anyone ever had a problem with the Graffiti up stroke for capitalization and the tap for punctuation just stop working? I can enter letters and use the keypad just fine, but I can't capitalize or enter punctuation using Graffiti. A soft reset fixes the problem, but I'm moving up to having to do this daily.

The only changes I've made recently are installing WordSmith and the Stowaway drivers. The problem is universal. It happens in every program (To Do, Address Book, etc.), not just WordSmith.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is starting to be a real bother.

Confirmation but no real help

I have noticed the same problem, very infrequently, after using the Stowaway and then removing the Visor to hand enter information.

Luckily for me, it doesn't seem to happen often enough for me to do anything about it.

Sorry no real help, but at least you know you aren't crazy!

This was a known bug in the early Stowaway drivers. Have you downloaded the latest driver v1.5.

Also sometimes disabling the driver when not using the keyboard provided a fix.

I can't find the link at the moment but checkout Targus for the latest driver.

Cool Good.. it's not just me..

I just experienced this problem today for the first time.. worrying that it might be a problem with the Visor itself (since it was occurring in all apps), I backed up my Visor, and did a hard reset, after which the problem disappeared. (Harsh, I know, but after some recent problems with my PC, I take the worst case FIRST!) after restoring from backup, the problem was gone..

Glad to hear this isn't just a "I did something stupid.. again" situation and there's already 'fixes' available.. Visorcentral has been the BEST tech support I've ever used !

Lightbulb Answer!

I had this problem, and the answer is very simple. Every time this problem occurs, go to the Keyboard program and uncheck and check the checkmark next to where it says "enable stowaway".
