Palm Desktop [Mac] Decors missing

I am running Palm Desktop 2.6 under Mac OS 9.1. All of the decors have gone missing from the Preferences dialog, although the files are still in the Palm:Decors folder. A reinstall of the Palm Desktop software hasn't helped; neither has trashing the 'Palm Info' Preferences document.

Can anyone suggest a fix?
