I am getting a Visor Deluxe or Paltinum soon, and I was wondering how would I connect up to the internet wirelessly? The visor phone is too expensive at $299, could I get a modem, and connect it to ANY mobile phone?

I would have to buy a sim card for the visor phone too, wouldn't I, my friend said you can put a sim card into any phone to work it with that network.

I enquired about IR phones, but there was only one expensive one on the network I want to use, but I could get a different network and change the sim card, but would I have to keep paying the old bill.
Can any one help?

servise activation?

It says on the visor website that the visor phone includes "service activation" whats that?
