Whatever happened to the Flip-Lid from Tactilis, Inc? We got a nice review and discussion board action at VisorCentral about the Flip-Clip -- a mounting device that can be used with their Palm III-style colored lids -- but their web site (http://www.tactilis.com) has said "Available Q1 2001" regarding the Flip-Lid ever since then. This looks like an excellent product, and I hope it hasn't fallen through the cracks.

Talking

This thread is alive and kicking about it.

Apparantly, the clip is shipping with PalmIII clone lids of various colors. We are still waiting for the "custom fit to Visor" lids.

Go back to http://www.tactilis.com and hit Refresh on your browser. The opening page has info about the secure transaction purchase available.

I'm holding out too!

Still waiting. I've had my tremblin' fingers on the "add to cart" button for the moment this part hits the market.

I'm actually wondering if Cristian(sp) is ok. You haven't responded to any e-mails (ok those were like 2-3 weeks ago.. but still) and I don't see you ever on VC boards.. you ok?

oops. I'll leave the above for historical purposes..

Cristian is alive and kicking.. see http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...p;pagenumber=11

"Well, I spent all last week in California meeting with the heavy hitters about the future of our products. (I'll let your mind wander on who that might be) Before leaving, I thought it would safe to take my "visor-modem-stowaway-multimail" combo to keep up with the rigors of maintain adequate customer service. Well as murphys law dictates, my visor crashed on day one ( I will refrain from comment on which module caused this! ) , leaving me with a week old backup on my backup module. Needless to say this left me with out my customer database, support e-mail, and a few other things I put on there just before the trip. So now I'm playing catch-up with the emails once again. So if you have sent emails, please bear in mind that I'm plowing through them (150+) and hope to answer them all before Friday.
"
