Screen Protection

Hey, just got my prism today (upgraded from the VPL) I put on the writerights on the prism and the colors looked like they were going through a prism. Are there any products i could use to protect my screen from scratches?..Thanks

This is a known problem when using WriteRights for MonoChrome devices on Color Devices. If you wish to stay with WriteRights, you need to purchase the ones for made for the Prism. I used them on my Prism and now my CLIE without problems. I did however just order the Brando Screen Protector from HongKong.

You can do a search of the forums and find more information on it. I just wanted to give it a try because it can be washed and reused.

Here is the link:

Brando

In addition, many people have had success with SheetProtectors. They cut them so they are slightly larger than the screen and then slip them under the casing. I tried this and it worked pretty well, but I could never get the size right or put them on without bending them.

WriteRights for a PALM IIIc work great on the PRISM. Been using them on mine for a year and am pleased with the product. Only on my third screen protector (found I could go about four months before applying new one). Good Luck.

Yes, these are the same ones that are used for the Prism. In fact, the box now says they are for the IIIC or VisorPrism. These are the same ones I have been using. I even cut one down slightly and have it on my CLIE.

I am really interested in the Brando that I ordered. I have heard many things about them and cannot wait to see if they live up to the hype.
