The fact that minijam accepted MMC.. was a deal killer for me too...
Based on what we've been seeing lately, I wouldn't count on it. Springboard production seems to have slowed in a big way. (Gee, could it be they've been pricing themselves out of the market?)
I just picked up the MiniJam, and I don't so much mind the MMC cards (except that they have to be formatted in a proprietary format - ugh), but then again, I don't use that much in the way of removable memory. But I would have loved for MiniJam to be SmartMedia or (and I wonder if this is possible) Secure Digital...
