Dear list,

I have recently got a gift of the Visor Platinum. I am based in Belfast, UK. As you know it comes with a USB cradle for sync. I have a Powerbook G3 Wallstreet233, which has only a serial port. I would like to use the IR port on the Powerbook to sync with my Platinum. I am running system 8.6 on the Powerbook. Couls anybody help me out ar point me to any other FAQ or website with info. on this please? I would like to try this before buying a serial cradle.

I believe the Platinum has the ability to IR sync on its own, without additional software. There is a menu in the preference that should let you select IR hotsync. On the Mac side I'm not sure what else, if anything, has to be done to get things to work...
