GRPS / Bluetooth
Does anybody know if it would be possible to use the GRPS connection of a IrDA equiped phone to access the web through the Visor?
I currently have a Visor Prism, and I use a Motorla T7839 (I think that the number is that. Anyway, is very alike the T250) to connect using its internal modem and IrDA port. But speed is something completely unseen.
I'm looking into buying the Ericsson T39, wich has IR, modem, GRPS and Bluetooth; and I'd like to know if I'd be able to skip the modem altogether and fall over GRPS.
On the same line, do you know if there is any bluetooth module on its way? and if it will be possible to connect to a modem using just that? The only problem I have using my IrDA port to dial-up is that if I use the serial port for that, I can't connect my targus keyboard at the same time (goodbye ICQ, Telnet, AIM, and so on unless I'm using my springboard modem!).
Well, I hope I wasn't too confusing.
Expecting your comments, regards.
