Unhappy MemPlug SM and the Stowaway Keyboard

I was testing today my Stowaway keyboard with Four.Zero installed in the SM card. At first I had problems with the Keyboard latest driver so I downgrade it to 1.5b48 and everything worked fine. Actually the new driver is only an update for the new Sony Clie. For Visor users it means nothing.

Anyway, after typing my schedule of classes it noticed that the batteries of my Prism were running down really fast. I've never seen my batteries draining so fast. So I set Afterburner to 33Mhz on both keyboard driver and Four.Zero. However, the battery drain kept going down. Now, my Prism is recharging like I'd used it for hours.

I guess we have to be careful using this combination of two battery drainers. Any comments or experiences?

Al

I've used both my MemPlug SM and my Thinmodem (big, big battery hog there) in conjunction with my Stowaway, and have had nothing like you report. My stowaway has never had any visible effect on my battery. Same with my MemPlug SM. My thinmodem is the the only module that noticably drains the battery quickly (and the modem gets REALLY HOT in one spot.. almost hot enough to burn the skin ).
