From what I've read, the Minijam does have an issue with the Prism. I also hear that Innogear is working on a patch right now.
However, I checked on the Innogear website and there is no update as yet.

I too was extremely dissapointed that my PRISM and my mimijam are NOT compatible at present.

I spoke with technical support at innogear several times yesterday, and they were NOT sure yet how to correct it, but were working on it...

I might not have spent so much to upgrade to the PRISM had I known this beforehand!!

Question Platinum

The prism and the new platinum use the same processor (at least I think they do)

Does that mean there might be a conflict with the minijam and the platinum as well?

I'd guess that the conflict would come from the new OS, not from the new processor, but it is possible that the Platinum might also have the same issue. However, I've seen lots about Prism incompatability, nothing about Platinum incompatability, which suggests that it may be a Prism-specific issue

Angry minijam update

Spoke to tech support AGAIN today they said the fix will be posted this week? they also promised me the minijam in july, aug, sept, and sent it in october and we are all still waiting to see the "six or four pack". I hope they are not slinging more BS at us again. HEY INNOGAEAR YOU GUYS FOLLOW THIS BOARD HOW ABOUT AN ANSWER IN WRIGHTING YOU CAN BE HELD TO...I HUNG IN THERE 4 MONTHS WAITING EVEN WHEN THE SOUNDSGOOD WAS SHIPPING AND IT WORKED WITH THE PRISM, I SAY NO FIX/PATCH THIS WEEK AND WE ALL SEND THEM BACK TO INNOGEAR WITH A BIG FU TO THEM AND ANY FUTURE ORDERS SHOULD BE CANNED!! SOUNDSGOOD HAS BEEN TRUE TO THEIR PROMISES WITH SHIPPING AND COMPATABILITY ISSUES.

JUST MY OPINION
DAN

Hey, thesmith, since you hate Innogear, how's about selling your minijam to me? I'll give you 75%.

Red face 75%?

I don't hate them I just feel that they have a poor track record of support and meeting deadlines. As for the minijam it is awesome and works great in my bvd. I have grown attached to it,and would hate to have to send it back for a 100% refund. But now that I have a prism you could buy my bvd for 75% if you want? Remember I ordered it in june and got it in october the prism came two weeks later why did soundgood get it right and innogear get it wrong ??I don't know? but I do know I am sick of being promised something and then being told something else.....I have been told anyday, top priority, this week and so on.....but hey lets face it they knew it was going to have to work with the prism as did soundsgood! who did it right? support and customer service are the conerstones of any good biz.

PS. I also have the innopak 2V and love it and it works great with the prism.
