Question

After doing a hard reset, my Visor no longer has a "user" identification (can be seen usually in the top right corner of the HotSync menu on the dpa.)

This problem is interfering with my syncing...anyone know how to tell the Visor who it is?

I am having a similar problem. From what I have read, after a hard reset the palm desktop should ask you for a username. This should reset the visor. Hope that helps. Anyone know how to change the name without a hard reset?

This may be useless but pilot-link (found on Linux and I believe os2) has a utility called
"install-user" that allows you to install a new user or read the current one. Someone may have ported the util to Win9X.
