Thumbs down Avoid Cingular and Visor Phone

Cingular customer service is absolutely horrible!

They gave me 3 passwords with 6 digits to log into their web site. But, the web page only accepts 4. They told me to wait 3 days for the new password to be activated.

Source from Cinigular web site:
type=password maxLength=4 size=4 value=

I am sure they would have me keep waiting if I didn't cancel service.

The phone is awful too. I gave up a StarTac with Verizon for this junk. The software is poor and the coverage was worse.

Visorphone & Cingular is OK

Visorphone & Prism working just fine. The argument I had with the Cingular rep on the phone was cool though. She didn't want to sell me data service and wanted me to call Handspring and buy it. She said they did not support the Visorphone. So I told her to forget what phone I had and just add the Internet Express service to my account. I had it going in a couple of hours. My Visorphone seems to reception equal to my Nokia 8290. One feature I hadn't counted on was that with the speaker turned up all the way it works as a satisfactory speakerphone.
