jsmil,

I'm assuming you've installed the software that came with your Visor and it didn't work. When you install, you have to do a custom install, not the typical or whatever it says. It will then give you an option to sync either to Outlook or Palm Desktop. Make sure you select Outlook, and it should take care of the rest!

I don't know what version of Pocket Mirror (the Palm/Outlook conduit) Handspring ships with the Visor, but more than likely you need to go to the Chapura web site and download the upgrade utility which allows for syncing with 2000.

The version of PocketMirror that comes with the Visor does...work....with Outlook 2000. But for best results:

- Install PocketMirror from the CD;
- Then-- download the latest update from the Chapura web site. Just download the update. You do not need the other files they offer.
- Install the Update.
- Before syncing, check your O2K calendars and address books for any possibility of duplication.
- Then...perform a "Handheld-To-Desktop" sync to get the Date Book, Address Book, MempPad and To-Do list from your Visor to O2K.

After that, a normal sync should be the routine procedure. One note: If you have O2K (or rather, the MAPI profile) configured to prompt you for a log in, you'll still have to perform that log in when you punch the sync button. Keep that in mind before you walk away from the computer.
