I'm waiting a long time for a case that fit my prism and minstrel s modem. Anybody know when EB or vaja will release the case for my prism and minstrel s modem?

I use the case that came with my MiniJam.

you need to add an "use other case" category to your poll...

Off topic, I also use the semi-clear cover that shipped with my Geode on my Prism, I use a real mix of product accessories on a daily basis.

I use the Sport Case for the Visor Phone that Handspring sells. It is a tight fit but it works.

Lightbulb RhinoSkin 2000

I am using the RhinoSkin 2000 case for holding my Prism with Minstrel attached. An added bonus...it also holds my Stowaway keyboard.

This case is an excellant fit for me.

Talking Case included

The OmniSky modem comes with a nice leather case. It fits nicely with both my Prism and the Minstrel modem in it. The part that holds the modem also has elastic around the sides so that when the Minstrel is not attached, it flattens itself so that the case doesn't bulge out.

I use this case regardless of whether I have the Minstrel modem installed or not.

I have talked with OS about selling this case separately but so far they don't have the excess inventory to support my request.

I got that case too!
but i want a case that you can use the prism inside the case.
so you don't need to take it out from the case if you want to use it.

Red face That one they do sell... sort of...

Akur,

OmniSky does sell a few accessories for the Prism and Minstrel S Modem. You may want to check out the case that they sell. Although I have not used it, the description claims that it holds a Palm V with the attached Minstrel V modem, however this item is listed on the Handspring Prism accessories page.???

Now I feel like calling OmniSky to find out what is up with this case.

It is all as clear as mud.

No, you can't use the Visor when it's inside the minijam case..

It looks a bit like the handpring sport case except it doesn't have a flap over the top and has a small pocket in the front.. (I keep my backup module there as well as the Minstrel's stub antenna when I am using my custom made booster antenna)

I'm not interested with case like HS sportcase or rhinoskin.

I am not sure if I am the only person that has been thoroughly searching but E&B DOES have a work-through case that will fit it... it just says for the Visorphone which has close to the same specs...

Has anybody actually tried the EB visorphone case with the Minstrel? Looking at the photos on the website, I'm not sure it will fit. I think the Minstrel is a little larger than the phone, although I'm not positive.

If it did work, that would be extremely cool. I've got the (regular sized) Slipper for my Prism, it's a nice case.

I ordered it 7 days ago... should be here soon. If it doesn't fit, then I will keep it so that when I do buy the VisorPhone I will already have a case.

The Minstrel is not larger, except for the "battery pack" extension in the back goes down a little further. The antenna is on the other side as well. I still believe the Minstrel will fit in this case. I promise to have a review for this case soon after it arrives.

E & B case won't fit.

According to E & B Cases, the Minstrel/Prism case will not accommodate the Minstrel S modem. They said that if there is interest, and ONLY if you are in fact interested, that they are gauging interest by the number of e-mails that are sent to the designer of their cases. His name is Mike E. Call them and ask for his e-mail address, and let him know of your interest. I'd post the address, but I do not believe that would be appropriate.

I want this case to be made!!!!!!!!!
