I upgraded to a Platinum because of replaceable batteries and Datebook+; I still like the slim profile and metal case of the Palm Vx. My question is how long are Li-ion rechargeable batteries expected to last and are they replaceable by the consumer like a cordless phone or do you have to send the unit back to the manufacturer for replacement?
