I tried to get VDx to replace my PalmPilot 5000 (yep, it's still running) VDx look nice, but in some aspect, i think, it doesn't woth the price.

Finally I got a used one for $100 something. You could say I am cheap but I was happy with the price. though, I was not completely satisfied with it but it was the best deal around.

Here is what I think the entire Visor line should cost:

Visor 2MB: $125 or discontinue it
Visor Deluxe: $150 - $175
Visor Platinum: $200 - $225
Visor Edge: $300 - $325
Visor Prism: $350 - $ 375

You could make a fortune just buying new Visors, and selling them. Look at eBay, I just saw a Visor Deluxe itself (no keyboard, no backup modules or software) , sell for $275.00 I guess the "Ice" color is really popular.


Still, I have yet to see a Visor sell for under $150.00 (well, it's just rare) that's in decent condition to say the best.

I would like to see Handspring offer some more discounts, because the $200+ for a Visor Deluxe seems overly pricey to me.

(I payed $150 for my Palm no-I-will-probably-never-stop-mentioning-it IIIxe) a year ago.
