Thanks Visorprismman.
I am a photographer and since my Mac is now working as it should have been the day i brought it home from the store, I can move on and upgrade myself to the Nikon camera I've had my eye on for some time now.
The eyemodule2 was just a fun little item to have around. Nothing serious. But it was nice to have and use as a visual note for an idea. I have been trying to keep it going because it worked out so well as "my little helper."
I have sitting here my old PowerMac 7200. Which for all the years that I have owned and was using it, was a BIG trouble maker. But now it might just be redeeming it's self. When I use it with my Prism, all the movies get on the hard drive as they always did do. So since I can't sell it, and it's too cumbersome to use as a fishtank...I might just set it up for use with my eyemodule2. And now that the logic board is new in the G4, maybe the networking between the two computers will work, finally. Which will save me a lot of time as well.
I was really hoping to be able to use everything on this new machine, and put the old one in a box, but the powers that be will not let me.
I might check into your suggestion #3. But I can tell you, that after 6 months of troubleshooting this G4, I don't feel much like doing anymore of it, of any kind. Other than the little odds and ends that always happen when owning and using a computer.
And I know, or I feel it, that once I get my little hands around the digital Nikon I want, I won't even think much more about the little eyemodule2.
But it's still very sad that they just let it fall into space. It's a good little guy and deserved much more respect than what it got. :0(
I'll post you, and let you know my outcome.
Thanks again!
