All,

Just in this past charging cycle, I noticed that even though I wasn't using it that much, the battery was dropping faster than it ever has before.

I didn't turn it on all weekend (although a couple of alarms went off), on Friday it had about 53% battery left, I woke it up this morning with about 12% life...

Some kind of new defect that I've not ready about before? My battery life has been pretty decent in the past.

Unhappy Similar Problem

I had a Similar Problem. Mine had a Problem where the LED on the visor would say it was done charging and when i took it out of the cradle, It would say 100% but about 2 seconds later it would say 30% and give me a Low battery warning. Hard Resets didn't work . It was definately charged as much as it would allow because I had let it sit in the cradle for about 32 hours. So I called handspring about it and they were really nice and sent a replacement . (5th Replacement BTW ) I don't know why but getting new ones is actually kinda fun I get all excited like it's my first time getting one, then I show my friends and they get all annoyed. I dunno maybe I'm just wierd.

Angry Pretty frustrating...

I've been recharging and hot syncing before bed. Then when I'm ready to read in bed I get the notice "extremelty low batteries". I even bought an emergency charger because it happens so often.

Handspring advised to do a System Reset. While holding the up scroll button you click the reset hole once and let go of the up scroll button once the Palm into screen appears.

This has been working so far...

same problem for me...

I'm having the same problem. Seems to be a bug because I know that the thing is fully charged but after 2 seconds or so the battery meter will show around 30%. I've had my Prism for 2 months and it just started doing this a few days ago. Not a huge problem unless it starts to shut itself off automatically from thinking that it's batteries are low.

Handspring, if you're reading this, how 'bout a patch soon!
