ChrisB,
Here's one of the few instances where function is form! Believe me, once you've grown accustomed to the security this puppy, i.e. the "metal box," offers, it's really difficult to trust anything else to protect your handheld. I had to give up my old Ti case (along with my PP) to my girlfriend, because the Visor is too big to fit the original. Now I don't have the money to get another Ti case. boohoo...
The terrorist attack you've made reference to is actually gravity. I've dropped my Ti-protected PalmPilot from chest height, and the only result was that the memory and battery covers were slightly ajar. Can you trust your case to protect your Visor that well? (I've dropped it several times, and even sat on it once, and the PalmPilot is still as pretty as the day I bought it. Even the case itself shows barely noticable marks. It's truly an amazing product. Palm itself tried to crash-test it, and only succeeded to demonstrate how great it is.)
I know the Rhinoskin is, shall we say, industrial-looking. Some people say it's ugly. Others think it's the coolest looking case on the market. But I'll grant you "ugly." But I happen to like "ugly" in this case, and I'll also take it over anything else, any day.
