Just an FYI...

Buy.com usually has the Writerights for $13.95 at:

(I've seen them usually go for $20 on eBay)

Hey Joe,

How about posting in the Buy/Sell/Exchange topic specifically setup for this topic.

UPDATE - *I guess I should have looked first*

Thumbs down

WriteRights are OK if you don't mind spending the money, but for you Newbies, you can buy $.65 of vinyl at a local fabric store and cut enough screen protectors to last a lifetime.

Here is the website with a comparison of different ways of making your own screen protectors.

Just an FYI. IMHO, most Visor users are hands-on type of people, and I am posting this so that new visitors to the site can see that there are options to protecting their screens.

Hi,
Today i got some WriteRights and something seems to be WRONG...They are so hard to put on and once you get it on you will notice that they dont even fit right!
But all in all i am happy with them and i love the way they feel but i have one Q. about making your own.....How do you get them to stick to the screen?

How do they not fit right? Did you get the ones for the Palm III?

If you make a protector out of 8 gauge vinyl, it will stick like a suction cup. Works very well.
If you make a protector out of overhead transparency sheets, you have to insert the edges inbetween the screen and the case.

Thumbs up

That's what I was about to say too, you can make screen protectors from transparency paper. Did anyone have trouble putting on their screen protector. Like mine, I had a big problem getting the screen protector to go under the bottom right corner.
