Angry

My brother in law recently purchased a Visor from BEST BUY in Kenniwick, WA. At the time of purchase the man that sold him the item told him about all the great features it had. He also stated that it had 8 megs on it. In actuality it has 2 megs. I just contacted the store and told them about the mistake and how I wanted them to fix the problem. I was told that isn't our fault and to deal with it. Does anyone have a way of contacting Handspring at the coporate level so that we can try and resolve this issue for him?

Thank you

the visor has 2 meg, the visor DELUXE has 8 meg... and i think its tied with the palmIIIxe as the cheapest one with 8 meg
the 2 meg version is $180 i think, and the 8meg version is $250

I'd say just return it with the reason being that he is unsatisfied with the product. Be firm and don't give any ground!

Why not just return the 2mg Visor to BestBuy, pay the additional cost for the 8 mg Visor and then he would have it?

Well, at least your brother-in-law learned a lesson: NEVER listen to ANYONE at Best-Buy. They are consistently the most undereducated salespeople I have ever come across (next to the Sears salespeople, that is).

That said, contacting Handspring isn't going to do a whole lot of good, but I suppose you should let them know how incompitant one of their resellers is.

The best solution, as mentioned above, it to go back to the Best Buy and make a scene. Demand that they take back the Visor and let you upgrade to a Visor Deluxe for the extra $100.

Cool

No, don't scare him. Additional 70 bucks would be enough.
