Hi,

Turned on my Visor Deluxe today to a Fatal Error with a reset button. Hit the reset, and now my VDX seems to be continuously resetting.

I've seen mention of this problem in this forum, and the suggested solution was to hold down the up arrow key while pressing the reset button.

I tried this and it didn't work for me. Am I not doing it correctly? The order I did it was:

1) While the Palm Computing Platform logo was flashing, hold down up arrow.
2) While holding down up arrow, press reset switch and release both.

The visor continues to reset.

Is there another way to get out of the loop, other than a hard reset?

Thanks,

Peter

  • ...
  • Release the reset button.
  • Wait until the Palm Computing Platform Logo appears.
  • Give it another second or so just to be sure.
  • Then release the up arrow.
